Job Summary

  • Reporting to the Department Director, and under direct supervision of the Manager, cleans hospital patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, and other areas by performing duties according to established and approved procedures.
  • The job requires proper cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces, following specific procedures for germicidal usage, isolation room cleaning, and various surface types.
  • Employees must adhere to established procedures for dusting, mopping, vacuuming, waste handling, and maintaining housekeeping carts and storage areas.
