The primary purpose of this position is to assist in planning and directing social service programs to meet the medically related emotional and social needs of residents.
Employees must coordinate social service activities with other departments and assist residents in achieving the highest practicable level of self-care and independence.
The role requires maintaining strict confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information while reporting any suspected fraud or unauthorized disclosures.
