Consult with and fabricate for faculty and graduate/undergraduate students the design and construction of research and educational equipment.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and service the fabrication shop equipment, CNC turning centers, and vertical machining centers.

Key Requirements
Minimum high school diploma
Excellent computer skills including SolidWorks, CAM Works, Word, and Excel
Ability to deadlift up to fifty pounds, climb ladders/stairs and stand for long periods
Journeyman toolmaker skills
Journeyman status or equivalent welding experience using MIG, TIG, stick, and oxy-acetylene
Sheet metal working experience
Proficiency in computer-aided drafting and manufacturing
Proficiency in using woodworking tools
Extensive knowledge of machining material properties
Forklift operation and experience with rigging and lifting
