The Arabic-French speaking Cultural Mediator will provide cultural mediation services, direct support, and information sessions to newly arrived people in Lampedusa.
The role involves identifying Persons with Specific Needs, facilitating referrals, and contributing to protection monitoring and assessment activities.

Fluency in Arabic and French
Good command of Italian
Previous experience in cultural mediation/interpretation
Experience providing information sessions to migrants and asylum seekers
Knowledge of Italian legal system for international protection
Experience working with GBV survivors and victims of trafficking
Experience delivering psychological first aid
Knowledge of survivor-centered, trauma-informed approach
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
