Job Summary

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
  • Administer medications, prepare and transcribe physician's orders, and chart nurses' notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
  • Participate in staff development, safety and sanitation, equipment and supply management, and care plan and assessment functions.
