The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a Child Welfare Trainer to deliver training to staff within the Division of Children and Family Services. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Social Work or a related field and possess relevant experience in child welfare and training

Job Summary

  • The Child Welfare Trainer serves as a trainer for New Staff Training for Social Services Specialists, Social Services Supervisors/Experts, and Social Services Assistants.
  • This position will also be responsible for providing the Division Information Management System (DIMS) training to the Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) staff in a classroom setting, labs and in the field.
  • The position is responsible for providing individual consultation with new workers regarding knowledge/skill development and providing feedback to the worker and supervisor concerning the workers progress in training.
