Job Summary

  • The Finance Specialist will report to the Associate Director for Research Services and will be responsible for the finance and administrative functions for MTI, providing assistance as needed to CEE and serving as a liaison to central University offices.
  • Job duties entail managing sponsored research administration pre-award, including working with PIs and ORA to complete the proposal routing and submission process, and post-award, including preparing financial reports for PIs and sponsors and reviewing expenses/monitoring cost share accounts to ensure compliance.
  • The position plays an instrumental role in enabling MTI’s continued growth, thereby allowing it to remain one of the technical leaders and innovators in transportation.
