BLS certification through American Heart Association
Accurate cardiovascular data abstraction
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and disease processes

Previous NCDR or STS registry experience
Experience with The Joint Commission Chest Pain accreditation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines
Proficiency in Excel and web-based applications
Key Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN preferred
Credential or training related to abstraction or coding preferred
