Job Summary

• As a Test Engineer with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your expertise to design electric propulsion systems for the battery-powered aircrafts that will enable the world to sustainably and efficiently get from point A to point B.
• You will be playing a crucial role in designing, setting up, operating, and maintaining test benches used for validating the performance and reliability of electrical propulsion systems and high voltage components.
• From ideation to production, you will work with a diverse and experienced team of design engineers to support aerospace industry leaders and spearhead technological advances in transport decarbonization.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Experience in setup and operation of dynamometer test rigs
• Proficiency in diverse test instruments
• Proficiency in executing test procedures using protocols such as RS485, CAN, ARINC-429, and Ethernet
• Experienced working in HV systems environment
