Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program and possess hospital experience, as well as basic life support certification

Job Summary

  • Ultrasound Extern assists in performing general, ob-gyn, and vascular exams in a variety of settings and on all patient ages under the supervision of a registered diagnostic sonographer.
  • Applies knowledge of anatomy/pathophysiology and critical thinking to implement appropriate imaging techniques using established protocols to acquire required images under the supervision of a registered sonographer.
