Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for providing prehospital Advanced Life Support to victims of sudden illness or injury in the designated service areas of the EMS system.
  • The ALS Paramedic demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients of all ages, inclusive of neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics in the ALS and Critical Care environments.
  • Employee must hold current New Jersey Paramedic certification or be eligible for certification through reciprocity, as recognized by the NJ Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services.
