Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.
Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications, observing and verifying medication ingestion, and promptly notifying supervisors of any errors or reactions.
The role requires maintaining a friendly, productive working relationship with other members of the nursing department and participating in quality assurance programs to improve the medication process.
