Key Requirements

  • Two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Science
  • 60 semester hours with 25 hours in clinical laboratory science
  • Clinical laboratory rotation in immunohematology, chemistry, hematology and microbiology
  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification by ASCP BOC or equivalent
  • Competency for waived, moderate and high complexity testing
