Job Summary

  • The Ambulatory Surgery Center provides care to pre- and post-op patients for a large variety of ambulatory surgical cases including ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Urology.
  • As an ASC RN supporting the Operating Room, you will use your strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in collaboration with physicians and anesthesia providers to screen, diagnose, and treat gastrointestinal conditions through procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs.
  • Caregivers in this role work days between 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and are expected to assume charge responsibilities and resolve problems while maintaining confidentiality of patient information.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of approved school of nursing (ADN or BSN)
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
  • One year perioperative or critical care experience OR three years Surgical Technician
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
