Job Summary

  • The SDN Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing software-defined networking (SDN) solutions that enhance the agility, automation, and security of enterprise network infrastructures.
  • Responsibilities include designing, configuring, and maintaining SDN solutions, developing and orchestrating network automation workflows using APIs and tools like Ansible, Python, or Terraform, and driving the deployment of intent-based networks, self-healing architecture and zero-touch provisioning capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  • Proficiency with SDN platforms (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, Juniper Contrail)
  • Hands-on experience with automation/scripting tools
  • Familiarity with Terraform and IaC
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
  • Certifications (CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE or equivalent)
