Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must meet NC Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards
  • Must complete Juvenile Justice Officer Basic Training certification
  • Pass criminal background, drug, psychological, sexual risk, and physical tests
  • Must be at least 20 years old
  • Valid driver's license required
  • US citizenship required
