Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • RICS accredited degree
  • working towards MRICS chartership
  • building surveying knowledge
  • design and construction processes awareness
  • CDM 2015 and Building Safety Act understanding

Nice-to-have

  • experience in education, local authorities, healthcare, central government or infrastructure sectors
  • proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or digital surveying tools
  • strong client relationship skills
  • collaborative team player

Key Requirements

  • BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying (RICS accredited degree) or equivalent
  • Actively working towards professional membership, namely MRICS or equivalent
  • Experience gained through placements, internships or post-graduate roles
  • Awareness of Health and Safety requirements, including CDM 2015 and the Building Safety Act
  • Awareness of the application of standard forms of building contracts (e.g. JCT and NEC)
