Job Summary

  • This position provides Network Operation Center (NOC) services including Layer 1 and technical support, site surveys, installation, configuration, replacement, maintenance, and monitoring of network devices supporting the County’s converged data and voice network.
  • The role is responsible for physical layer troubleshooting, hardware lifecycle support, and ensuring proper deployment of network infrastructure at County facilities.

Key Requirements

  • Three years of experience with WAN/LAN
  • One year of experience with ticketing systems
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with network technologies (VLANs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, OSPF/BGP, QoS, VoIP)
  • Experience with security integrations (802.1X, RADIUS)
  • Experience with troubleshooting tools (packet capture, spectrum analysis)
  • Experience with wireless network environments
