Job Summary
This job educates women, families, health professionals, and the community about breast feeding and human lactation.
Facilitates the development of policies which protect, promote, and support breastfeeding; acts as an advocate for breastfeeding and provides evidence-based breastfeeding support and care from preconception to weaning for women and their families.
Oversees and coordinates lactating patient needs by providing up-to-date and accurate information and appropriate lactation assistance, applying age specific knowledge that’s relevant to the care of the patient.
