Provides expert patient care and acts as a clinical resource to staff while maintaining quality standards established by UMMC and the nursing profession.
Serves as lead nurse, supervising and coaching nursing staff, ensuring patient safety, and educating patients and families on health-related topics.
The role requires occasional exposure to biohazards, physical demands such as lifting and bending, and may include call duties subject to department discretion.
