Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Scientist I in the Cytogenetics Laboratory will be responsible for performing a broad range of testing in Cytogenetics Wet Lab and Analysis.
This includes processing and evaluating specimens, cell culture and harvesting, chromosome analysis, imaging and karyotyping, and reporting.

Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology or an ASCP approved discipline
ASCP Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or Cytogenetics (CG) passed within 12 months of eligibility
BSMT or BSMLS degree in Cytogenetics
Previous clinical laboratory experience
Previous Cytogenetics experience
ASCP in Cytogenetics CG(ASCP)
General knowledge of clinical laboratory quality control practices
