General Motors is seeking a Body Structures System Architect to lead the technical strategy and architecture of body structure systems during the Advanced Vehicle Development phase. The ideal candidate will have extensive engineering experience and a strong background in vehicle body structures, along with leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams

Job Summary

  • This role provides global leadership for the technical strategy, requirements, and overall architecture of General Motors' body structure systems during the Advanced Vehicle Development phase.
  • The position requires setting design direction for advanced body-in-white systems including potential integration of the RESS structure while balancing performance, cost, and manufacturing complexity.
  • Upon successful completion of a motor vehicle report review, you will be eligible to participate in a company vehicle evaluation program where you will drive and evaluate GM vehicles.
