Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for conducting competent and appropriate investigations on school-based incidents and providing written reports of an unbiased nature on incidents and accidents.
  • The Investigator provides intervention between the Division of Safety and Security, parents, schools, students, and community agencies to ensure that the appropriate assessments are conducted and actions taken to meet the needs of the investigative process.
  • The Cleveland Metropolitan School District has developed standards of excellence that the district applies to all parts of the organization inclusive of schools, principals, school leadership teams, networks, and central office.
