  • The Microbiology laboratory encompasses specimen collection, processing and testing within the Department of Clinical Laboratories, providing full service testing 24 hours per day.
  • This Lead Medical Technologist directs the daily operations of the Microbiology area, performs specialized laboratory procedures, and is directly responsible for the technical quality of tests performed.
  • Administrative duties will include personnel evaluations for selected individuals, technical procedure writing/implementation, assisting with scheduling, training, and record keeping.
