Job Summary
The assistant manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Critical Care Laboratory and provides leadership within the area.
Duties include oversight of laboratory operations, CAP/CLIA compliance, QA, safety, timekeeping, scheduling, testing strategies, and platform performance.
The position assists with P3 evaluations, corrective action, budgeting, purchasing, and new equipment evaluation, as well as oversight and training of technical and shift lead personnel.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with MT(ASCP) certification or higher
4 years of post-degree clinical laboratory experience
Degree from NAACLS accredited program or equivalent
Medical Laboratory Technology degree with ASCP/AMT, MT or MLS certification
Master’s degree with Medical Technologist Certification
