Job Summary

  • The assistant manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Critical Care Laboratory and provides leadership within the area.
  • Duties include oversight of laboratory operations, CAP/CLIA compliance, QA, safety, timekeeping, scheduling, testing strategies, and platform performance.
  • The position assists with P3 evaluations, corrective action, budgeting, purchasing, and new equipment evaluation, as well as oversight and training of technical and shift lead personnel.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with MT(ASCP) certification or higher
  • 4 years of post-degree clinical laboratory experience
  • Degree from NAACLS accredited program or equivalent
  • Medical Laboratory Technology degree with ASCP/AMT, MT or MLS certification
  • Master’s degree with Medical Technologist Certification
