Key Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with network monitoring tools (Netcool, SevOne, Prognosis)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Linux and Windows systems
  • Hands-on Linux system management experience
  • Strong knowledge of SNMP, MIBs, and OIDs
  • Scripting experience (Python, Perl, PowerShell)
  • Database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle)
  • Basic LAN/WAN knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of network tools (DNS, DHCP, SYSLOG, RADIUS, IPSec, NAT, ACLs)
  • Customer or operations support experience
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
