Must-have
Current active RN license required
Knowledge of CDC and OSHA regulations
Experience with aseptic techniques
Ability to interpret infectious disease reports
Strong communication with medical professionals

APIC certification in infection control preferred
PCC knowledge preferred
Long-term care facility experience
Epidemiology and microbiology background
Key Requirements
Nursing degree from accredited college or university
2 years or more experience preferably in long term care
Current unencumbered active RN license in state
Current CPR certification
Maintain good standing with State Board of Nursing
