Key Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from accredited surgical technology program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
  • Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) or obtain within one year
  • Registered by the State of Illinois
  • One year experience as Surgical First Assist with 120 logged cases
