Job Summary

  • The Materials Quality Control Technician II is responsible for sampling, testing, and inspecting construction materials in both laboratory and field settings to ensure compliance with project specifications, owner requirements, and applicable Canadian regulatory standards.
  • This role is expanded to include WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 3 responsibilities, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) duties, mine rescue support, and environmental compliance monitoring for the Bamberton Quarry.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience
  • Engineering Technology diploma preferred
  • ASTTBC registration or Canadian equivalent is an asset
  • Understanding of WorkSafeBC regulations
  • Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license
