  • Help modernise our trading technology by applying contemporary design patterns, cloud-native engineering principles, and architecture governance that supports performance, scalability, resilience, and future growth.
  • You will influence one of bp’s most critical trading platforms and shape how we build technology that supports real-time decision-making in fast-moving markets.

  • Experience with modern architecture patterns
  • AWS cloud services and cloud-native patterns
  • C# or Java
  • Containerisation (Kubernetes / Docker / OpenShift)
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Integration and messaging (APIs, JSON/Swagger/OpenAPI, AMQ or similar)
  • CI/CD and DevOps tooling; Git-based workflows
