Job Summary

  • The Clinical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day triage of the pediatric Team activities of maintaining compliance and quality for pediatric patients, assuring timely admissions, assigning patients to the appropriate team members and monitoring patient care as ordered on the interdisciplinary plan of care.
  • The Clinical Manager conducts the IDT meetings and supervises and supports clinical staff through evaluation and field supervisory visits and assures ongoing development of the teams’ clinical skills.
  • The Pediatric Clinical Manager must have nursing licensure from all three jurisdictions for medical practice for the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia or within 6 months of hire into the role.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum two years pediatric clinical experience
  • Minimum one year Hospice/Home Health experience
  • Minimum two years leadership experience preferred
  • RN from NLN accredited nursing program
  • BSN preferred
  • Nursing licensure DC, MD, VA or within 6 months
  • Valid Pediatric BLS/CPR Training
