Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Degree in Acoustics or related discipline
  • Full Member of Institute of Acoustics (MIOA)
  • Minimum four years experience in acoustic consultancy
  • Ability to plan and conduct acoustic surveys
  • Strong understanding of UK environmental legislation

Nice-to-have

  • Chartered or Incorporated status
  • Experience with CadnaA or SoundPlan software
  • Familiarity with GIS and/or CAD tools
  • UK wind farm noise assessment experience
  • Knowledge of underwater noise principles

Key Requirements

  • Acoustics diploma required
  • Full UK driving licence mandatory
  • Full Member of Institute of Acoustics (MIOA) status
  • Minimum four years' relevant experience
  • Degree in Acoustics or closely related discipline
