Key Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year Security, law enforcement, or military experience
  • Previous armed police officer experience with arrest power
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Police Officer of Standard Training Policy Academy completion
  • Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification or Military Police equivalent
  • Valid Louisiana driver’s license and clean DMV report
  • Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and firearms training
