  • The Database Security Manager is responsible for leading the team that implements and maintains security systems to protect relational database systems, cloud native databases, NoSQL and big data platforms, and the data they contain.
  • This leadership role is responsible for being a liaison between senior management and individual contributors, dedicated to supporting the goals and vision of management while supporting and encouraging their team to produce effective solutions and results.
  • The typical base pay range for this role is between $145K - $185K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Related Fields or equivalent work experience
  • CISM, CISSP, IDSS, or CISA certifications
  • Advanced technical experience in data security, data protection, cybersecurity
  • Demonstrable experience in people leadership and management
  • Experience in banking or finance industries preferred
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies including RDS and Cloud Native Data Types
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (GLBA, SOX, PCI, CCPA/PRA, GDPR)
