The Neuroscience Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing/medical inpatient/outpatient services of Adventhealth within the scope of practice of licensure and as outlined in the Collaborative Practice Agreement and is responsible for eliciting patient histories and conducting comprehensive evaluations.
Clinical management of neurosurgical and neurological patients in the ICU, particularly invasive hemodynamic and intra-ventricular monitoring - which includes drainage of cerebral spinal fluid from the brain.
