Job Summary

  • The Sr. Tier 2 network field technician will support the installation and maintenance of the client LAN/WAN devices.
  • Respond to and resolve incident tickets, draft and implement standard network change requests, and provide support to Tier III network engineers.
  • Perform configuration management functions such as updating topology drawings and ensuring asset management records are accurate.

Key Requirements

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 compliance
  • Working knowledge of basic routing fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of layer 2 switching concepts
  • Layer 1 and Layer 2 network experience
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI models
  • Familiarity with Layer 3 protocols
  • Bachelors degree and 8-12 years experience or Masters degree and 4-6 years experience
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Security+ Certification
