The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will join the R&D team responsible for developing intraoperative neuromonitoring systems used in complex spinal and cranial surgeries.
This role includes leading mechanical design and development for next-generation projects from concept through commercialization while ensuring designs are safe, effective, and compliant.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional partners including Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to manage product development timelines and deliverables.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
5-7 years of related experience
Proficiency with CAD and SolidWorks software
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485 regulations
Experience creating FMEAs and Risk Management documentation
Nice-to-have
Previous medical device experience in spine or orthopedics
Ability to collaborate closely with surgeons and OR staff
Experience with additive manufacturing methods

Key Requirements
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering, or related technical discipline
