Job Summary

  • The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will function as an independent healthcare provider working collaboratively with physicians and other members of a multidisciplinary health care team, to provide comprehensive care in a variety of settings.
  • Performs comprehensive inpatient assessments, rounds independently or in collaboration with the surgeon, and adjusts care plans based on patient progress.
  • This is a Casual Call position designed to support the Acute Care Surgery and Trauma Service during periods of PTO, FTE vacancies, and high-volume patient census.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Montana Licensure
  • DEA License if applicable
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
  • Two years inpatient or general surgery experience
