Job Summary
The EHS Technician will assist the Director of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) in maintaining campus compliance in general safety, fire safety, lab safety, asbestos maintenance, hazardous materials, recycling, and animal control.
This position involves routine safety systems inspection and repair, including fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, exit signs, smoke/heat detectors, and other building devices.
The role requires the ability to localize and repair mechanical or electrical problems, test and monitor equipment functions, and perform fabrication work.
