The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing supervisors and the Director of Nursing Services.
Essential duties include following facility policies, noting and reporting medication errors, maintaining professional relationships, and participating in quality assurance programs.
The role requires a licensed Medication Aide, a high school education, and the ability to read, write, and interpret professional information, as well as apply mathematical concepts and solve practical problems.
