  • Independently performs more advanced patient care tasks as delegated by the RN, which may include but not be limited to intravenous (IV) line insertion and removal, phlebotomy, placing patient on cardiac and vital sign monitors, bladder scanning, blood glucose, and performing a 12 lead electrocardiogram (EKG).
  • Maintains and orders stock for the nursing area; cleans equipment and work areas. Maintains a clean and safe work environment, following department safety policies and standard precautions.
