Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for being knowledgeable and proficient in the pre-implant, post-implant, and inpatient mechanical circulatory support clinical practice.
  • The incumbent acts as a patient advocate and educator while promoting optimum patient independence, self-care, and rehabilitation.
  • As an integral member of the mechanical circulatory support/transplant team, the nurse assists physicians by independently monitoring patients and managing outpatient clinics.
