The students will be able to familiarize themselves with various aspects of engine operability such as starting, acceleration and deceleration (handling), transient simulation, aircraft interfaces, electronic and hydromechanics control systems.
Contribute to engine sub-system definition like the controls system, generate transient simulation corresponding to aircraft maneuvers, and analyze test results.
This work term offers an excellent opportunity to the student to get familiarized with gas turbine engine operability and its operation on helicopter or airplane.
