Key Requirements

  • PhD in Chemical Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related field
  • 15+ years of drug discovery experience in industry
  • Involvement in 5+ discovery to IND-stage programs with leadership in at least 2
  • Expertise in small-molecule cancer drug discovery and development
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong experience with small-molecule drug discovery disciplines
  • Experience collaborating with regulatory, CMC, and clinical groups
  • Experience collaborating with external CROs and academic partners
  • Experience recruiting, mentoring, and developing scientists
  • Experience planning and maintaining budgets
