Job Summary

  • Performs rigging works in preparation to crane lift, including rigging planning, load evaluation and calculations, rigging selection, hooking-up slings and signaling crane operator.
  • Splices wire ropes up to two (2) inches in diameter, and fibrous ropes of various constructions.
  • Installs and repairs rigging and weight handling equipment on docks and ship side, and boat and barge riggings.
