Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 2-5 years electronics manufacturing experience
  • Wave Solder or Selective Solder process knowledge
  • Screen printer parameter setup and verification
  • Reflow oven profiling and golden profile maintenance
  • SMT pick-and-place programming and validation
  • AOI result interpretation and program tuning
  • Structured problem solving using 5-Why and Fishbone

Nice-to-have

  • SPI systems exposure and AOI optimization
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards
  • Basic soldering and rework skills for evaluation
  • Experience with DOE, SPC, or Lean/6σ tools
  • Understanding of RoHS/REACH and flux chemistries
  • Stencil design basics including aperture and area ratio

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical certificate or associate degree preferred
  • 2-5 years hands-on experience in SMT/PCBA
  • Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs
