Job Summary

  • The Associate Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate information for strategic and operational decisions.
  • This position is remote; however, you must be available to work within the Eastern or Central time zones.
  • Specifically, you will be supporting the Primary Care business with a focus on IBNR (Incurred but not reported) and claims analytics.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or higher
  • At least three (3) years of healthcare actuarial experience
  • Meet eligibility requirements for Humana's Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP)
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Presenting technical concepts to a non-technical audience
