Job Summary

  • The Mental Health and Justice Coordinator will ensure programmatic operations, compliance, and provide oversight to the Jail In-Reach Programs and other Specialty programs.
  • Responsibilities include developing and managing programmatic contracts, payment of invoices, budget preparation/monitoring, and developing program objectives, policies, and plans.
  • The role requires establishing and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders including community-based organizations, law enforcement, and criminal justice system entities.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or related field with 2 years managerial/supervisory experience OR 6 years related professional experience with 2 years managerial/supervisory experience
  • Experience with program development and implementation
  • Experience with federal grant management
  • Experience performing program evaluation, program monitoring, data analysis
  • Experience with service/programmatic systems design
  • Knowledge of DBHDD’s adult Community Mental Health services
  • Master’s degree in a human service-related field (Preferred)
  • Two years programmatic development, coordination and oversight experience in mental health or police and mental health collaborations (Preferred)
  • Grant management experience (Preferred)
  • Comfort with occasional statewide travel (Preferred)
