The position requires performing routine, stat, and complex histology and cytology procedures for use by Pathologists in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Candidates must validate specimen identification, embed tissues at a rate of at least 30 blocks per hour, and perform various special stains including trichrome and immunofluorescence.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Associate's degree in science of Histology
HT-ASCP or HTL-ASCP certification required
Processing embedding and sectioning paraffin blocks
Performing special stains on tissue sections
Validating specimen identification and prioritizing workload
Nice-to-have
3 years' experience in a Histology Laboratory
Experience with frozen tissue sectioning
Electron Microscopy experience in clinical setting
