Job Summary

  • The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider who works as a PA in cardiac surgery, credentialed with Operative First Assist, and/or acts as a responding clinician for patients with ventricular assist devices.
  • This position qualifies for enrollment in MGB Shift Commitment program, paid in two semi-annual lump sum payments for participants who work the minimum hours requirement within the 12-month period.
  • The BWH Cardiac Surgery Service is a 24/7 PA run service, therefore, working nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
